The exam information on this page will reflect the latest updates for each exam including questions, answers, tips and sample papers. Where possible links to sample exam papers and annotated exam papers will be available for you to download and use in preparation for your online exams. All the project management exams are multi choice with the exception of the APM PMQ where you need to type out your answers in long hand. So with the exception of the APM PMQ you will get an immediate notification of your exam result on its completion. Currently the APM PMQ will take between 6 to 10 weeks for your results.

Is it important that you carry out system checks?
Yes. Use the exam invitation email to complete your system set up and checks well in advance of your exam. Its important to know that if you don’t carry out system checks before your exam and then encounter issues that stop you from taking the exam, there is a high chance you will still be charged.
Should you use a work computer to sit the exam?
Your work computer may have security systems that may stop you from taking the exam. If you have no other option the APM will provide technical support for your IT department to prepare your computer. Another simpler option maybe to use your personal computer or a friends computer for the exam.
A system check email will be emailed to you at the time of booking. If you don’t receive the email please check your junk folder and then contact APM on 01844 271 680.
When will you get your exam result?
On completion of the exam you will get a provisional result. It will be verified and confirmed by email a few days later.
Cancellation fees will be charged if the exam is cancelled within five working days of the exam date. This includes postponements and time changes.
