APM Project Fundamentals Qualification APM PFQ(PFQ)
| The APM PFQ qualification is a good starting point if you’re interested in gaining a project management qualification but have no project management experience. Its the first step in the tier of APM qualifications that may lead to a career in project management. The PFQ is one of the easiest qualification out of this list below that includes a 1 hour multi choice exam. Bundle this course with another to get the most out of your ELCAS resettlement funding. |
APM Project Management Qualification APM PMQ(PMQ) | The APM PMQ qualification is very good for your CV and future employment and is from the Association for Project Management. Its the second step in the tier of APM qualifications that may ultimately lead you to become a Chartered Project Professional ChPP. To be successful with this qualification you require some project management experience or have recently taken another project management qualification. The PMQ is a challenging qualification and includes either a 2hr or 3hr exam. If you’ve passed a PRINCE2 Practitioner exam then you have an option of a 2 hour PMQ exam, if not you must take the 3hr exam. |
Agile Project Management Foundation AgilePM®(AgF) | This is a good qualification to consider if you have little or no project management experience and are considering a new career relating to project management. Both foundation and practitioner courses are normally taken one after the other, so you complete all your training within four days. However, you must complete the AgilePM foundation course and exam before taking the practitioner exam. |
Agile Project Management Practitioner AgilePM®(AgP)
| There is recent evidence from a survey conducted by the APMG in late 2021 from AgilePM practitioner candidates. The findings were invaluable as they backed up our understanding of the true value of this qualification. Its a lighter product when compared to PRINCE2 or APM PMQ and provides greater exam success. AgilePM is a highly relevant iterative method used widely in todays ever changing environment. |
PRINCE2® Foundation(P2F) | PRINCE2 is a widely recognised project management qualification used by many organisations throughout the UK and across the globe. So it should be considered as one of your options. On completion of your foundation course and exam, its best for you to complete the higher level practitioner qualification in order to improve your job prospects. However, you must pass the 1 hour multi choice foundation exam before taking the practitioner exam. There is an option to reduce the risks associated with exam failure using a TAKE2 option.
